I own a pocket pc. Are these things capable of picking up free/unsecure wireless networks like a laptop can?
It's an Audiovox XV6600. Just curious of this things wireless capabilities. Could I scan for a network and connect to it without having to subscribe to Verizon for access?
Sorry for the bad news but you would need WiFi to access the Internet via hotspots and all you have is Bluetooth and IrDA and they won't get the job done. Here is the rest of the story;
